I just opened up a can of maple syrup and it has clear crystals on the bottom. I have actually opened up cans from this situation in the past couple of months and also not discovered this before. So, am I storing it improperly? It's in the basement in our storage pantry but the situation is on the floor. I think it's still okay to consume, unless anyone tells me differently! I'd love some comments and advice. Thanks in advancement.
