all females sound like geriatric elves

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not unless they were currently a Peter Robinchild fan

How did the narrator detract from the book?

OMG he was so awful. He has actually a nice voice, yet he"s a reader, nothing more. And his voice range as soon as it pertains to attempting to perdevelop a female is laughable. Eextremely women came off sounding choose some geriatric elf, breathy, squeaky, ridiculous. Really detracted from taking any of them seriously. And this is a difficulty for a book that has actually so many kind of female characters: Annie, Geri, Jenny, Gervaise, Linda Fuller . . . they all sounded so silly. WHY? Why do audio producers hire readers that 1) can not also give a decent array of believable voices to the major personalities and also 2) ssuggest check out the book aloud rather than perform it. What occurred to Simon Prebble, who was doing this series for years? I hope this is a momentary change, because Prebble is a master.

Do you think Sleeping in the Ground requirements a follow-up book? Why or why not?

N/A

Any added comments?

I was disappointed by this outing from Robinboy. It wasn"t any type of sort of a puzzle, tright here weren"t multiple suspects. Also, it was so unbelievable that all the cops would buy the self-destruction at the start - it"s so frustrating to read along as soon as actions are that implausible.
